How to get started?

Hi!

Not sure how to start this! I had my eldest ds at 20, having previously always dressed practically as I've always done quite hands on work. I still do work hands on as a hobby, but I'm now a SAHM.

Im currently 27, 2 dc (7 and 1) and absolutely no idea how to dress myself! I still dress like a teenager day to day - hoodies, jeans and character t-shirts with some form of trainer or converse, or a selection of 2 dresses I still fit in. I'm still breastfeeding and struggling to find my style, while needing easy access to my boobs! I've got an underactive thyroid and went from an athletic size 8-10, to a size 16-18 with a tummy and a lot of wobble! I'm only 5ft 2in and am rather round atm.

I've got a few nice tops that I wear with jeans, but currently own less clothes than my oh and desperately need more but I'm reluctant to go out and buy my normal things, as it just doesn't work anymore. I've no idea what I actually like though or where's best to start. I don't even know how much you 'need', though I'm aware that my 2 pairs of jeans and 2 bras probably aren't actually enough!

I've also got excessive hair growth, so tend not to like showing my chest, upper arms, or back as these all have male pattern hair growth.

Does anyone know of any good guides please? Or have any words of advice? Where do I start looking? I'm not sure how to get going, I've been putting it off for ages because it scares me a bit, but I'm tired of looking a state constantly! How do I dress like a reasonably well put together adult!? Sorry for the essay, I'm struggling to word it!
