Best eyebrow products for creating brows from scratch?

Following chemo I have absolutely no eyebrow hairs. I won’t have microblading because of infection risk and also I’m hoping that my brows will grow back in a few weeks so it won’t be needed, but at the moment I have to draw them in completely every morning.

The product I use (Soap & Glory archery) isn’t working for me as the crayon end smears and the felt tip doesn’t make any impression on my skin. I wear SPF and foundation/BB cream so there’s always a bit of product layering to deal with. Perhaps that’s why I’m having the issues I do.

Any recs for something that will create precise realistic looking hair strokes and/or any tips for making a better base for the brow product to sit on?

Flowers OP, sorry I can't help but did see some brow product ad recently for a product which mimics the microblading with thin strokes. It might have been on Ebay, I'll have a look.

L'Oréal Micro Tattoo at Boots, from a quick search

Would something like this be any good OP?

They're transfer tattoos. I've been debating whether to get some myself, because my own brows are sparse from alopecia and I'm terrified of having microblading and hating it.

Try Bobbi Brown’s Perfectly Defined Eyebrow Pencil. You can get it from their website or from John Lewis. It has a waxy texture and is very long lasting. Also has a slant tip making it easy to apply. If you are up to a visit to a Bobbi Briwn counter, I’m sure one of their make up artists would be glad to help you.. learn how best to apply and choose the right colour.
I do hope your recovery goes well, sending you warmest good wishes .

How about trying a powder pencil? Gosh in Superdrug do one as do NYX in Boots - both around £6 or £7 pounds. I use the NYX one these days, in their Taupe colour (my hair is grey, but I prefer a cool taupe for my eyebrows). I love the way it goes on without smearing, and it can be very precise. You'll need a cosmetic pencil sharpener for it, though.

My mum has no brows and she uses a little pot of brow pomade by Revolution (from Superdrug) and a brush.

How about something like this for the base hair strokes:

and then topping it up with a powder pencil to fill in gaps? (another vote for the NYX one I love it Smile)

I’ve not actually used the jml product but am very tempted to try it!

Just a tip, do your brows before you apply foundation.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Benefit! They do lots of great different brow products. They have counters in most department stores and in some bigger Boots.

When I lost mine, also due to chemotherapy, I used an YSL eyebrow pencil in quite an ashy brown shade which was brilliant for drawing on a basic shape, and putting some detail in to imitate hairs. I then messed it up a bit with the brush at the end so it didn’t look so drawn on. Did the trick!

Try a pomade
Apply setting powder over the foundation before doing brows to add staying power.

John McLean is a bit of a character but he knows his eyebrows:

I’m sparse of brow. Tried a good few, over the years. I like this ... It’s a Bourgeois one. Lancome do one in a pot and at the counter they’ll show you how to apply it. Lasts ages too.
