Has anyone used beauty pie?

I hear lots of good things about it, but I don't fully understand it!
Has anyone used it who loves it/rates particular products over high street brands?
Am I right in thinking you pay a subscription but on top of that you then pay for items, but they're at a discounted rate?

I love it! Been a member for a year and converted from Elemis skincare and my skin is so much better. Join the FB beauty pie community page and you'll get a feel for what people recommend x

Been a member for around 5 months now and love it! Their glycolic acid beats pixi glow imo, their vitamin c capsules are fantastic. Japan fusion cleanser - amazing. Used/using many other products aswell, though haven’t tried their makeup so can’t comment on that, but it’s definitely saved me money compared to what I was spending on skincare before and my skin is genuinely much better

Interesting!

Am I right in my understanding of how it works?

Do you mind if I ask how much it costs you a month and how many products you get?

I pay the lowest subscription of a tenner and usually buy a couple of things. The Japanfusion serum is fabulous as are the lipsticks. I'd recommend it

I'm a bit dubious about buying make up
Online because of the colour matching but a few people have recommended beauty pie to me so maybe I will give it a go
I'm interested in the skincare though.
Maybe I'll try it at the lowest subscription - is there a limit to what you can spend? I've tried looking at their website but it keeps crashing on me today so apologies for all the questions

I love it. I pay £5/month (that's the lowest)

Each item is priced at a members price but shows what a similar product would cost on the high street. (eg £10 Beauty Pie's price for a serum vs £50 that it could cost if it were High Street brand) But for my £5 membership I am only allowed to spend the equivalent of £50 worth of high street-priced products each month.
Ie: I could only buy 1 x £10 Beauty Pie serum. If I wanted to buy two I would have to save up my 'allowance' to buy next month.

The skincare has been brilliant for me - as someone who would never justify paying those prices for big brands, it has made a noticeable difference. There are lots of reviews for each product, so you can get a good idea of what is working for other skin types

I joined a couple of months ago and have got to say I'm really enjoying the products I have purchased. Their plantastic cleansing balm and so is their setting powder brush. Everything I've tried so far has been good. I'm tempted to try some of their other make up brushes and have got so many more skincare products I want to try from them.

I would recommend the £10 membership as a good way to try it out. It is a minimum of a three months membership. For that membership I would be able to buy £100 of products at the general retail price so a monthly order would be about £25 - £30 when paying the beauty pie prices. You can roll over any unused monthly budget aswell.

Yes! Really like most things so far. Particularly cleansers, capsules and lipsticks and eye shadow sticks. Not fond of the retinol night cream, doesn't suit my skin but others like it, or the mascara. Nice products and won't break the bank.

The skincare is very good; I like the new shampoo and conditioner, and the brushes. The make up is more varied, depending on what you like and wear to start with, but it's all about choosing colours and textures for yourself and that is not always simple online. The One Powder Wonder is excellent, and the Rummy Pink lip-liner is apparently a dupe for a Charlotte Tilbury best-seller. Those are my serial repeat cosmetic purchases. Once you've decided whether it works for you, you might want to pay subscription annually as it saves you two months fees.

Their tinted moisturiser is a game changer for me-haven't worm foundation since I bought it. My skin has improved so much. I use the plantastic cleanser, Dr Glycolic and Super Healthy anti ageing (daytime) and ultimate sleep oil at night.
Mostly my skin has smoother appearance and lot less redness. Pre Beaty pie I was starting to wonder if I had rosacea but massive improvement now. Plus you can roll over your allowance x
