A miracle product for dark circles

Mine are just dreadful. I look like I have a black eye. I'm getting enough sleep but poor quality. Definitely don't drink enough water.

Is there anything to improve them or cover them. I'm using Becca and a soap and glory thing at the minute.

Benefit Boi-ing industrial Strength Concealer is very good

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 04/11/2019 19:34

I like Clinique airbrush concealer.

Having tried many different, often costly, products to conceal the very dark shadows under my eyes, I have finally settled on Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer from Asda, costing a whopping £4!

CravingCheese · 04/11/2019 19:51

A good moisturiser and a nice concealer / highlighter (YSL touche eclat is good imo but I don't think it's the solution for very dark circles, unfortunately)...

The ordinary makes a caffeine eye serum but that simply works by temporarily constricting your vessels afaik. So very short term, I guess...

I feel like retinol made mine less pronounced but that was probably mostly due to evening out the skin's appearance in general.

Revlon YouthFX Fill n Blur concealer.
Much better than the best selling Maybelline eraser as it is smaller and is better suited size wise to the under eye area.

I had one of those ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ sessions and the woman doing it said to use peach concealer if you have blue tones under the eye. Seems to do the trick.

MoltonSilver · 04/11/2019 20:06

Cut out artificial sweeteners, particularly diet drinks.

LateMumma · 04/11/2019 20:30

Caffeine solution from The Original seems to help mine

peaceanddove · 04/11/2019 21:01

You need to apply a peachy coloured, colour corrector first (Bobbi Brown do a good one) before applying concealer.

DontFundHate · 04/11/2019 21:11

Moisturiser, clarins instant smooth primer, Bobbi brown colour corrector, Estée Lauder concealer on top, finish with hourglass sheer powder

Also look up Sali Hughes interview in the bathroom with Dick page. Totally changed my perspective on under eye darkness

hopeishere · 04/11/2019 21:13

Thanks everyone! I'm a diet coke addict so maybe that's the problem.

Definitely drink more water and buy a roller from body shop or the like to get circulation moving

onetwothreemore · 04/11/2019 21:26

Could be genetic OP
My dark circles are purely genetic runs in the family on dad's side and nothing can change this. I've learned to live with it and it's not that bad ... It does feel shit though :) who am I kidding...

SlothRunner · 04/11/2019 21:46

You need an orange/peach base and then your concealer over the top. NYX has a very good dark circle concealer in a little pot, its about £5 or so. Revolution concealer and foundations are also really good, and very reasonable

Fstar · 04/11/2019 22:08

For me it really depended on my complection, a light peach colour corrector works wonders. Good eye cream is a must and i use a lightweight concealor too so doesnt look heavy
