Bras without wires

Sorry I know there have been other threads about this but I can't find them...

Any recommendations for bras without wires? I am definitely wearing the right size but a lot of bras just dig into my sides now. The bras that used to be really comfy are suddenly not (and I've lost weight, not put it on, and have tried getting fitted / trying on new bras but I'm still the same size). I've got a couple with silicone wires which used to be better but I'm finding them harder to tolerate now. I have some new M&S t-shirt ones (with wires) which are ok for a shortish day but they come off as soon as I'm home.

I've been wearing a New Balance bra top at home www.amazon.co.uk/New-Balance-Womens-Black-Small/dp/B01GISEN0U/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&psc=1&crid=FW8M5N5ULELE&keywords=new%2Bbalance%2Bsports%2Bbra%2Bwomen&sprefix=new%2Bbalance%2Bsports%2Bbra%2Caps%2C139&th=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1572699036&sr=8-5

But it makes my boobs disappear, and has so little support that on a dog walk my boobs get a bit sore. I'm a 36E and 41 so generally need a bit of support.

If anyone can recommend something that has a bit more support and gives the girls a bit of a lift that would be suitable for work I'd appreciate it.

I have two very supportive wire-free bras but be warned, they do look a bit pointy and they're very unglamorous. I bought them to get the right fit in vintage clothes (high dart, more tailored) and they're so supportive I started wearing them under everything. The 18 Hour bra with soft straps is particularly comfy. The brilliantly-named Doreen is a bit stiff and scratchy.

At the risk of sounding like a one woman M&S ambassador (just been sticking up for them on another thread), have you tried the Flexifit range in there? I chucked (almost) all my wired bras and replaced them with those and haven't looked back. C-D cup, if that helps.

BloodyCats · 02/11/2019 13:09

I have this. So comfy and pretty.

Ha @Zinnia think I was reading that thread! No, I'll try the Flexifit range, I have an M&S near work so I'll pop in next week, thanks!

Molke. Their bras are fabulous. All made in the Uk and they pay their staff a living wage too.

LuckyKitty13 · 02/11/2019 14:16

Agree molke!!! Amazing shape and support. Be warned I've found them a tad difficult to get on at first, but after a bit of practice, I love them.

TigerJoy · 03/11/2019 17:31

I'm looking at molke bras and they don't look very supportive...but i love the dino pattern! Worth a punt i think, thanks for the recommendations!

They are very supportive. Free return too so worth trying!

Uniqlo Beauty Light bras. I don’t wear anything else now. It’s the only thing that’s persuaded me to throw out my ancient M&S bras that up til recently seemed comfy. I also got a friend to try the Uniqlo ones, she became obsessed too!

I hate underwires and haven't worn once since before I fell pregnant 3 years ago. I love the m&s love bralette (at 32GG it's still supportive enough) and also had some made by Nooby Noo on Facebook which I love!

Molke are much more supportive than you might think. Also they have great returns policy if u domt like and good resale value
