Going back to work and hate my wardrobe - help!

As it says in the title really, I'm going back to work next week and need style tips. everything that I used to wear to work now doesn't fit or looks terrible.

I used to wear high waisted/belted trousers, pencil skirts, jersey dresses etc, with heeled boots.

Now every time I look in the mirror I feel like the mum tum that's still hanging around makes me look pregnant in anything other than jeans/jeggings and a loose top. Most of my old trousers don't do up now, and I'm still breastfeeding so all my old shirts etc no longer fit.

I hate being uncomfortable, so not keen on anything too tight or structured. I'll also have a longish commute with lots of walking and just a small locker for storage at work (no set desks to leave shoes etc) so clothes ideally need to suit being work with flat-ish comfortable boots.

For info, I'm size 12/14 - now erring more on the side of a 14 - 5,7 and 36E.

You sound pretty much the same kind of figure as me! What about simple long sleeved dresses? I tend to wear these most day for work, most of mine are from Sainsbury’s etc. They’re great because you can wear them with tights, leggings etc. I also still have a mum tum but they hide a multitude of sins! I tend to get really bad muffin top if I wear a top and trousers and look very top heavy as I have a big bust.

I went back to work 3 weeks ago and although my office is casual I've found shirt dresses and flat ankle boots look decent. I can cinch my waist in with a belt. I just wear a vest underneath for cleavage.

Shirt dresses might be the way forward I think @hammeringinmyhead, and @Becky274 I'll keep an eye out in Sainsbury's for dresses! Thanks!

I was going to suggest a look in Sainsbury’s, especially if you think perhaps you will fit your old work clothes again in the future? Otherwise Cos is my go to often for work clothes. There are also quite a few platform brogues around which could be good for commuting and to wear in the office.
H&M often have some good value work clothes too.
