Please help. My face has sagged down my neck

I'm pre-menopausal (but feels like the full damn thing to me).
In the last month my face has just sagged, down my neck and I look horrific. If I stand sideways there's no definition between my face/jaw/neck.

How do I regain some definition?
Exercises?
Gadget?
Serums?
Creams?
Scarves? 😭

Ultherapy is supposed to be amazing, v v painful though but all the celebs do it and it is specifically for tightening skin, jawlines etc

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 29/10/2019 22:50

CACI treatment can make a difference. It's a way of exercising the underlying muscles of the face and jawline so can have a firming effect. I've tried it and did notice results for the first lot of treatment. The second lot not so much. Not painful unless it's on high and the therapist is working on a senstiive area -even then it's just more of a tingle.

You have my sympathy as my face is rapidly heading south.

I have no advice, I can only commiserate. Every so often I seem to age a few years overnight (hormones I guess). The tenuous upside to half my face sliding down my chin is that my cheekbones have appeared.

Face exercise

GrumpyHoonMain · 30/10/2019 01:18

Face sagging can appear less dramatic with weight loss (fat can often make it look worse) but the only sure fire way to get rid is plastic surgery.

Daisyboobooboo · 30/10/2019 21:53

Or face exercise. Lifts and tones face muscles like exercising the body does

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 30/10/2019 21:59

Another vote for CACI. Initially you need a course of treatments reasonably close together. I have one every 6 weeks now, and it really makes a difference, if you can run to it.

Cinammoncake · 30/10/2019 22:16

nuface (it's a gadget)

RuggyPeg · 31/10/2019 07:48

Nuface doesn't work and neither does caci. Ultherapy has some terrible reviews. Fillers, on the other hand, always work (in the right hands of course).

Pancakeflipper · 31/10/2019 08:48

@Daisyboobooboo what facial exercises do you recommend? I am currently staring at the ceiling sticking out my tongue as far as it goes. Glam.

Not heard of CACI or Ultherapy so need to look into that.

Wondering about collagen tablets....

Sigh. My face has always been like this, no definition between my face/jaw/neck. I envy everyone with a ‘normal’ jawline, chin & neck! I look like a thumb!

LHReturns · 31/10/2019 19:27

I think Nuface absolutely works on the upper face - crows feet in particular. I do about 5 minutes on each side of upper face / cheekbones / crows feet while I read in bed. With a top quality facial oil while you use the machine think it has made an enormous difference to how smooth I look the next morning (and also compared to the odd night when I forget to do it). You need to do it almost nightly for the effect to remain. So it is a commitment.

However Nuface is generally accepted to be useless for the jaw / under chin / neck. I've given up with it in that area now - I think I could Nuface for chin for an hour every night in bed but not see anything tightening there.

Quickkimchi you made me laugh.

Daisyboobooboo · 01/11/2019 11:54

Pancakeflipper I do Eva Fraser face exercise but their are many others. I do my exercises daily and especially when I'm driving in my car. Wonder what passing drivers think Grin
