knee high boots for wide calf - help please

I have always bought Good for the sole wedge heel knee high boots. They either don't have the same ones or have changed the width of the calf as they don't have any that fit me. I have tried Next and they didn't fit. Please can anyone recommend any? I am happy with either black leather or suede, not too high but a definite heel. I like wedge heels as they are more comfy but will try others.

I have a couple of pairs that are wide fitting from Landsend, suede ones in different colours

I've just bought a really nice pair from Curvissa... think they are Sheego branded. Clarks wider leg are quite good too.

Don't touch DuoBoots with a barge pole - all style over substance. I paid over £140 for a pair of ankle boots that didn't last one winter Hmm

Newlook! I was pleasantly suprised to find a pair that fit for around £40! If you look under wide fit you will then see ‘extra calf’ in some of the descriptions. Not sure what styles thet have at the moment but might be worth a look xx

Thank you. Will look at those.

Clarks definitely xx

I got some from Dune.

I have massive calves and also small feet ( 3 and a half). Gabor boots are fine for me, I buy the ones with an adjustable calf, there is a buckle. I’ve heard Evans recommended on threads liked this in the past.

Moshulu works for me!

Agree. I was recommended Duo on here and seem great - you send off your calf measurement - but they broke almost immediately. Waste of money. Don't have an answer though I'm afraid OP.

I just got a gorgeous pair of brown knee high boots from Yours. They fit my fat calfs!

Kiki275 · 28/10/2019 20:33

Following with interest. I have this problem but don't have wide feet, so wide fitting shoes end up being really uncomfortable x

Lochroy · 28/10/2019 20:36

The heel broke off my annoyingly expensive Duo pair the first time I wore them! Avoid.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 28/10/2019 20:39

Maybe Duo have changed. I have several pairs of Duo boots that have been going for years....

Both Jilsen and JJ Footwear do wide calf boots. There's also a website called widecalfbootsstore.co.uk that stocks a limited range of both. Simply Be also have a range of wide calf boots but a lot of their boots aren't leather.

Typically the ones I really liked from Next would not go over my fat calves. Decided to try the sheego ones in black suede look as they looked nicest and there was an offer if you signed up of 30% off. Thanks for all your ideas.

I got mine from Evans.

Simplybe have multiple calf sizes. Although as someone mentioned not all are leather.

PhantomErik · 29/10/2019 21:27

I've got a lovely pair from Simply Be, they are 'Heavenly Feet' make & are so comfortable & only about £50.
