Rainy weekend, social plans have fallen through. So...
I'm fortunate to have plenty of wardrobe space with a modular wardrobe built on either side of a chimney breast. How would you sort it? Work on one side, home/leisure on the other? Autumn/Winter on one side, spring summer on the other? I'll attach a "diagram" (in the loosest sense) separately but what I've got at the moment is:
Shelf A - Hats and a couple of bags
Shelf B - Nothing (is obscured by contents of Rail 1)
Shelf C - Shoes (in boxes)
Shelf D - More shoes
Shelf E - Folded sweaters
Shelf F - Folded jeans
Rail 1 - Dresses, longer tops and jackets (very full)
Rail 2 - Tops and hung sweaters/cardigans (very full)
Rail 3 - Trousers and summer tops
Rail 4 - Skirts
Rail 5 - Skirts (I like skirts!) but could be spare.
There is a spare shelf (size of Rails 2 and 3) that could go in somewhere.
The floor space on the left is bags, the floor space on the right is boots. I also have two drawers under the bed full of shoes, of which I probably wear about five pairs but that's a whole other thread!
I am about to Marie Kondo the arse out of my wardrobe (I'm so ready!) so some tops and skirts will definitely go. Maybe move the trousers to Rail 5?
I've recently started a new job which is a bit smarter so there will be less (but still some) crossover if that makes any difference.
How would you do it?
