Fake tan for eczema

I'm really stuck on fake tan! I have eczema patches all over, arms, thighs, neck... There not visible until I put tan on and it seems to just cling to the patches no matter how much I moisturise. There only small patches but makes the tan look awful.

I've tried st tropez, st moriz both the mousse instant tans and also the garnier gradual moisturising tan. They all look awful.

I'm so pale I look washed out without having a full face of make up on.

Has anybody else been in this situation and found a tan that suits this skin type?

I have the exact same problem! I tried some tanning wipes a while back and they seemed to be okay, didn’t create any patches, however they only tanned really really REALLY lightly 😭

Is this after exfoliation? Don't know what elst to suggest. I exfoliate regularly & moisturise with aveeno & have noticed that my patches aren't as visible as they were.

Sally Hansen spray-on tights is the only one I've found to work.

I think maybe you need to deal with the eczema first? When I have an outbreak, I cant use fake tan at all. I keep mine under control with daily moisturiser, cool showers, oil baths and bepathen on any patches that flare. Otherwise I use St tropez mousse generally and have spray tans without issue. The st tropez in shower gives me dry patches however as does bondi sands

I do exfoliate and use aveeno just as a regular thing, I don't notice it untill the tan is on and it seems to really irritate it :(

Ahh I feel for you OP :( I have psoriasis ( a lot better than it was ) and have a few little patches left on my legs and my elbows.

The only thing I have found, is that I apply a lot of vaseline onto the patches and then very carefully go around them.

Time consuming I know :( but I'd absolutely love to know that there was a miracle tan I could use

Me too, Sparkly, and the Sally Hansen is the only thing I've found that covers rather than clings. It's washable though, so not quite the longevity of a fake tan.
