Perioral dermatitis skincare

I've recently been diagnosed with Perioral Dermatitis and got a prescription of antibiotics from GP. After a bit of research I want to try and cut out SLS from toothpaste/shampoo/skincare etc. so I'm looking for recommendations on brands/products you use or any other tips!
I have sensitive teeth & currently use arm&hammer toothpaste - not sure if that is SLS free - I can't read the tiny print! Anyone know?
I also need to pack away all the acids/masks/serums etc in my cabinet I think and take it right back to basics - any recommendations on products? Ideally available at boots (at least to get me started) as I'm going to take a walk there on my lunch to pick up my prescription!

I got perioral dermatitis as a result of using too many/too harsh products on my face. This Bioderma cream has magical properties and cleared it up very quickly www.bioderma.com/en/our-products/cicabio/creme

When my skin was bad I used almond oil for cleansing and the bioderma to moisturise ( I still use it as eye cream as it's so moisturising) Once it recovered I gradually introduced a few more products but I stuck to Bioderma and L.A. Roche Posay. I must say my skin looks better on this low maintenance regime that it did before when I was using acids and retinol.

Sorry I'm no help with toothpaste, this wasn't a trigger for me. Good luck finding something that works well for you.

I have PD and the only toothpaste I've found that doesn't include SLS is Sensodyne. It's a while since I've had a flare up but when I do glycolic acid tends to stop it in its tracks. Other than that I use Vitamin C cleanser from FaceTheory and rosehip oil as a moisturiser.

Thanks Chartreuse- I think all the acids and products in my bathroom cabinet may be a factor too! I'll have a hunt for that bioderma in boots.

Tatiebee - I've just bought sensodyne as I'd seen it recommended elsewhere.

I have no idea what has actually caused mine as I've just lived with it for years thinking it was just bad skin. A doctor actually told me I had it by looking at me, got antibiotics but figured I'd try and help things along by cutting out some of the common causes!

Bumping this for the evening crowd! My daughter also has PD and I would love it to be resolved without antibiotics if at all possible.
