Emergency, fake tan on face remover!

Last night I put a couple of tanning drops in a face cream and put it on my face. I thought it would barely show up. I have never used these particular drops before, but seem much stronger than I thought.

My face is orange. I have exfoliated with mild scrub but not reduced.

What gets rid of (or substantially reduces) fake tan. Could brave Boots if there are no home cures.

Try rubbing with damp cotton pads. It will take a while but may shift some of it. Also rub with a warm damp flannel. Abrasion will help remove but obviously try not to be too rough on your face.

Id get some st tropez tan remover. Dishwasher tabs are brilliant, nailpolish remover also ok, but I'd never use on my face!

Lemon juice on a cotton wool pad and rub!

Sweat is usually pretty good for removing fake tan - go for a run - or do you have access to a sauna?

I have exfoliated a few times which has toned it down a bit. I also had a sample of a Korean BB cream that was a greyish colour which I have put on which has also helped. I have also wrapped a thin scarf around my neck. The contrast between white neck and orange face was not helping!

I read on here once that glycolic acid pads are good for removing fake tan.
