Cheek filler- looks worse

Gad filler 2 days ago.
One side is fine, the other side has brusing, is sore, possibly swollen.
There was the beginnings of some kind of low eye bag/droop on that side, the thing i had fillers to correct and it seems to have accentuated this.
The 'bad' side also looks bigger, though this could be swelling. The injector did equal amounts in each side.

I contacted my injector, a dentist, and she is seeing me next week. Any idea what i should be asking for / doing.

I have read that it can take two weeks to settle.
Might it magically unfuck itself in two weeks?
Confused

How are you doing now? You could get the filler dissolved if you're really unhappy but I don't know whether that leaves you with exactly what you had before the filler was injected.
I had fillers on Weds - usually go for 1ml in cheeks, this time 2ml... I had a minor freak out after. I think it's possibly too much for me, but I'm hoping it settles in the next week or so - usually it does lose its oomph or the swelling recedes.

Its much better thanks.
I would do it again.

How often do you get the filler?
Have you had anything else?

I dont know anyone in RL who has it.

That’s great. I’m happier with mine too today - it takes a bit for the swelling to go down. I was pretty sore - had it in my temples (Shock) and cheeks. I guess I go around every 9 months.

Never had Botox and would not do my lips - not my look. One day a facelift might be on the cards, but I wonder what years of fillers will mean... I can see my jawline slackening. Fighting the inevitable

I had this. I think it depends on your age and facial structure. As you get older your bones shrink increasing your peri- orbital rim. With filler and bruising, this is accentuated giving the appearance of a punched cheekbone. Everything depends on the skill of the injector, not just in technical terms but aesthetically as well. Some just whack it in with no regard for the individual’s facial structure and age.
