Is there a holy grail product for sleek, shiny hair?

I have naturally curly hair, the top layer of which is damaged and frizzy from straightening/ colouring.

Is there a holy grail product that once its styled I can spray on or run over it so it appears sleek and shiny rather than damaged, split and frizzy or is it all just wishful thinking?

I only use heat on it once a week/ every 10 days now and use hair masques so the condition is improving, but when I do straighten it, it does look a bit damaged/ frizzy on the top layer and bits around my face and I’d love to smooth/ sleek it all out a bit.

You never see celebrities / models on the red carpet or whatever with frizzy/ damaged looking hair so I assume there must be something but I’ve yet to find it!

Wow Dream Coat could be an option.

Keratin blow-dry. I have similar hair to you and have had a good experience with it.

Another vote for a keratin treatment.

After party Bed Head

Another vote for Colour Wow Dreamcoat. You have to remove build up regularly and it does need to be blow dried to work, but it transformed my massive frizzy hagrid hair.

It has the same effect as a keratin treatment - I paid £180 for one of those which gradually wore off over 3 months, but Dreamcoat is £24 a bottle from amazon, needs applying to damp hair and to be blow dried every couple of washes, needs periodically removing before starting over, and I've had my last bottle for 4 months and it hasn't run out yet.

I haven't found very much to put on dry hair to transform frizz very effectively really. Tigi bedhead smoothing balm is quite good. Otherwise, Dreamcoat all the way.

Colour wow stuff for sure. I have some stuff in a tube which I put on dry hair which is my favourite. Also different stuff in a pump action bottle for spraying on wet hair. Life changing stuff.

Blutopia · 29/09/2019 19:36

Yeah but what stuff is it SleepyKat!?

Lefields · 29/09/2019 19:36

Thanks guys, just ordered some of the wow dreamcoat stuff to be going on with. Will see how I get on with that and then may also get the stuff you apply to dry hair

The tube stuff for dry hair is colour wow....one minute transformation. That’s my favourite.

The spray stuff is the dream coat which is also excellent.

Sorry, wasn’t at home earlier and couldn’t remember the names but have just checked.

Blutopia · 29/09/2019 20:26

Oh they do stuff for dry hair too? Brilliant, off to take a look.

20 years I've battled with my hair, it's taken long enough to find a gamechanger.

Kerastase Ciment Thermique is my HG product.

Colour Wow is grand, too, but doesn't quite outdo the Kerastase.

Blutopia · 30/09/2019 20:00

I tried one of the Kerastase range years ago...made my hair really knotted. I was gutted, but my friend who has masses of thick hair swore by it.
