Sudocrem help! Are they all the same?

I want a teeny travel size pot of Sudocrem to put in my medical bag when we go away. Those ones you used to get in the Bounty pack with your Emma’s diary in 2000 would be ideal!!

I have found this but it says nappy care cream-is that the same as the normal (brilliant) Sudocrem which says antiseptic healing cream?!

Yeah I'd reckon that's exactly the same

ToftheB · 27/09/2019 13:27

Has it got an ingredients list? I can check it against mine if that would help.

spiderlight · 27/09/2019 13:53

Yes, it's all the same. Asda had perfect little lipgloss-sized ones at the tills last week.

bobstersmum · 27/09/2019 13:56

I think it's the same! Sudocrem is brilliant.

fedup21 · 27/09/2019 13:56

Was it this, @spiderlight

Because these are definitely different and it’s not the same stuff as the normal Sudocrem antiseptic cream.

The wiki page tells you that’s more of a cosmetic moisturiser.

This is from the website and explains some are cosmetics fin you see where I’ve highlighted. The little one being one of them rather than anything medicated like the normal product.

I just can’t find any mention of the nappy care cream!

Wow! I have just emailed them directly and they answered straight back!!

The aforementioned product is the only Sudocrem product marketed in the UK that holds a medicinal license. It is indicated for the treatment of napkin rash, eczema, bedsores, acne, minor burns, surface wounds, sunburn, and chilblains. The 10g pot of Sudocrem Baby Care Cream does not hold a medicinal license (i.e. it is not used for the treatment of the dermatological conditions mentioned above), and contains different ingredients.

So it’s different.

It’s the antiseptic one I need. I just wish it came in a diddy teeny pot!!

Thanks everyone for your replies-I managed to find the answer myself in the end!

Can you decant some of the cream you already have into a travel pot?

Troels · 27/09/2019 14:14

Super drug has the tiny pots of the normal sudocrem.
I found some in poundland too.

Deathraystare · 27/09/2019 16:17

I have seen tiny pots in Primark!

Incidentally did anyone see the pic of the three kids who were supposed to be sleeping but smothered themselves in the product! Too cute!

I bought a tiny one recently. Think it was in Primark at the till

BobbinThreadbare123 · 27/09/2019 16:25

You can get the normal Sudocrem in a squeeze tube.

MyBootsAreMuddy · 27/09/2019 16:33

Just decant some into a little pot. I used to keep some in an old camera film pot in the change bag when my DC were little. Dd1 has a contact lense pot she keeps in her bag that has vaseline one side and sudocrem the other as it takes up less space than a pot of each.

frugalkitty · 27/09/2019 19:41

I found a dinky pot of sudocrem in primark a while back, perfect for travelling.

fedup21 · 27/09/2019 20:06

Thank you all-it sounds like I need to get me to Primark!
