Comfy but stylish lounging pyjamas

I’m feeling it’s about time I upgraded myself from my tired Tesco specials to something a bit classier for cosy nights on the sofa. I’m thinking wide leg baggy long pants and a long sleeved top, no cutesy designs or logos. Can’t be cashmere as I am allergic to wool, and silk probs a bit slidy. I’m thinking to treat myself and spend up to £70. Does anyone have any recommendations?

love my Cyberjammies. I have got two pairs and especially like the pockets and patterns.

I blow a bit hot and cold with Hush generally (sorry Hushistas!) but their pyjamas are the business and usually around £55. I also love love love Toast loungewear but it's over your budget I think!

Thanks. I hadn’t heard of cyberjammies!

Beautiful and stylish patterns here and 100% cotton .... but expensive. Putting up the link in case anyone's feeling rich.... or like starting their xmas list Grin

Me+Em palazzo pants are amazing (and wash incredibly well).

Wow, those Dempsey pjs are a special price. Pretty, but...

Sidney · 28/09/2019 07:52

Argumentative, I do too, but why do most pjs need a great big ribbon/bow to hold the trousers up? I don’t need anything to emphasise the stomach part of my body....

ArgumentativeAardvaark · 28/09/2019 10:40

Interesting @Sidney. I think of it more as being a good thing you can adjust the waist with a drawstring then I tend to tie a fairly floppy bow so not too obvious. I’m also past caring what my stomach looks like in pyjamas Grin. Though actually I have on occasion gone for a wee and the end of the ribbon has dangled in the loo- now that is annoying!

Wow indeed to the Dempsey ones. The Palazzo pants look comfy but I feel would be a tad less stylish in my size than on that rake-like model.

Hush ones are lovely I’m lounging in a pair now...
Derek Rose are a super treat and BrandAlley currently have them on sale which makes them more affordable-I can refer you too for an extra £20 off an £80 spend

ArgumentativeAardvaark · 29/09/2019 08:59

Thanks whattodowithaminute. That is a fantastic discount on the DR pyjamas in Brand Alley but none are available in a big enough size for me unfortunately. I looked at the DR website too- the full prices are eye-watering- £225 for plain jersey jammies and £175 for cotton! What is it about them that makes them so good?

Super soft and luxurious wash incredibly well-my hush ones are getting slightly misshapen after a year of wear but my DR look like the day they were bought 2 years ago.

lotusbell · 29/09/2019 12:07

I really want those Hush ones, OP but I've never spent that much on pjs/am 5ft/already have a ridiculous amount of pjs Grin
