Best "green" cleanser/make up remover?

I've ditched make up wipes and bought washable cotton cloths, but what would be the best cleanser to use with them? Want to avoid plastic but I've also read that glass containers being heavier can end up having a bigger carbon footprint! Any suggestions? Is there maybe a cleansing bar out there that's ok to remove eye make up?

The Body Shop cleansing butter comes in a metal tin which might be an option for you. I repurpose the tins when they're empty (takes a while, you only need a small amount of product at a time).

Burts bees oil is really good, also any ren cleanser. REN's are one if the best companies in my opinion with a great sustainability ethos. Lots of recycled plastic. It helps their products are good too 😀

Drunk elephant, lush and herbivore all have nice facial cleansing soap options.

I like to double cleanse. An oil first (which is great for eye make up), followed by a wash off cleanser to get rid of any residue.

Akamuti do lots of lovely oils for cleansing, that’s where I get mine from.

I'm using Wonder Balm which is removed with a flannel and hot water and is packaged in a tin. It's made by a company called A Pony Called Steve. Gorgeous essential oils and makes your skin feel moisturised.
