Help! Need an outfit for my birthday meal out and I've been told PJ's or maternity jeans aren't allowed.

DP is treating me to a nice meal out and a few cocktails soon for my birthday. It will be our first evening out since DS2 arrived 8 months ago.

I have literally nothing to wear. Put on about three stone. My boobs are still enormous (and saggier than they once were), I still look preggers, and am living in scruffy size 18 maternity jeans and baggy tops, or pyjamas. Sad

What can I wear?? Budget of about £60. I usually like dresses but feel very down about my body at the moment and self conscious.

Any advice on what I could buy would be great. I'm 5"6. HUGE boobs, round belly, big hips. Long brown hair, blue eyes and slight tan.

I have a similar body. I would get either an a-line/skater dress or a faux wrap dress. The wrap dress is great for the belly, but the big boobs will mean you probably need a camisole to raise the v neck a bit.

I’m not a fan of my body at the mo either! I’d be more into getting my hair looking good and my makeup looking good to make me feel good. But perhaps that’s just me being silly!
Balconette style bra to lift the chest up, they totally work, even with humongous bazongas like mine.

I quite like empire line dresses. That focuses on the thinnest part if your body being directly under your bust not your waist. Works for me. I agree with the above poster about wrap dresses. Love them so much. Skater and a line are nicer on others than me though I do love them too but my waist is too thick.

Heels or sexy lady boots. Not flats. Enjoy your night Smile

I would suggest a wrap dress, GOOD bra to hoik them up, and shoes you feel comfortable in (I don't think there's anything attractive about seeing a woman struggle in too high, blister inducing shoes).

Midi length Smile

And some nice perfume!

I’m bigger than I would like right now and really like the Popsy dresses - flattering full-ish skirt, nice prints, pockets. Go for one of the lower v neck style ones. Sizing is generous - I currently need a 16 in anything tailored but am very comfortable in a 14 and suspect a 12 might even have been ok.
