Mineral sunscreen (face) that doesn't leave a white cast?

I'm in love with my Ultrasun mineral face sunscreen (spf 50) as it's the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't break me out (LRP Anthelios for example was terrible) and I think it's the mineral nature of it.

BUT the mineral nature of it, of course, seems to leave a very white cast on my skin; it's still a little bit there no matter how much I rub it in and I caught sight of myself in the mirror yday and thought I looked ill and ghostly (hope it's not JUST the white sunscreen...!)

I'm about to buy a new tube of sunscreen for autumn (spf 30 instead of 50) and not sure I want to buy the Ultrasun one again, despite how fab it is, because of the white effect. They do a tinted version but I'm very pale anyway and worried the tinted one might be a bit orangey or unnatural (no point going from looking ghostly to looking tango'd)

It's £££ and I only seem to be able to get it online at the mo, pharmacy stocks of sunscreen go down at this time of year so I can't seem to find anywhere to try it. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a tinted one that's unusable for me.

Are there any brands of mineral spf that DON"T leave this white cast? Do I need to spend much more, or something? Or has anyone used a tinted one if they're pale like me, and can give advice on how it was?

Much appreciated!

Heliocare 360 range is fab. I have used mineral tolerance, oil free gel and they do a colour one as well. None of them leave any residue and are fab for skin. It's not a high street thing, I buy it from my local private clinic and I guessing you can buy online? It's about £30

I was coming on to suggest heliocare but babbydriver has beaten me to it. Bear in mind the tint is quite pale.

I think what you need is a tinted mineral sunscreen. I can't think of any mineral SPFs that don't have a white cast.
Neostrata Sheer Physical Protection is another good one. Here

I use the Heliocare Mineral Fluid and it doesn't leave a discernable cast but it does contain fragrance which is potentially irritating (and not very nice either). The tolerance version will likely leave a cast if you're using the appropriate amount (which is unlikely by the sound of it if you're buying a tube a season, a tube lasts me less than a month for face and neck).

I've tried the Neostrata but I wasn't a fan, made me quite dry looking but if you're on the oilier side potentially less of an issue. I wasn't convinced by the universal tint either, it wasn't bad and I'm a bit difficult to colour match but it didn't feel all that universal to me and wouldn't think it would suit the very pale.

It's pricey as it's only 30ml but I did recently try the Clinique mineral spf30 and it's very nice to use and didn't give me major white cast, only the barest hint that disappeared once dry.

I'm not sure which sunscreen ingredients LRP has in it but there are 2 that are in just about all sunscreens and I am allergic to one or both of those! I tried mineral but didn't get on with it but Ambre Solaire use a different sunscreen ingredient and it works fine for me. They do lots of different formulations so may be worth a try?
