Make up recommendations

Hi. I've been using rimmel and boujois for years. But it doesn't really sit will on my skin anymore. Can anyone recommend a makeup brand? I normally just wear cc cream, eyeshadow and mascara. My skin is on the dry side.

I looked at mac and bareminerals but was surprised at that cost. Is it worth it? I'm used to 3 for 2 from superdrug 😂

Revolution conceal and define/ hydrate is reasonable and normally 3 for 2 at superdrug. No7 is also decent, especially mascaras. Higher end nars tined moisturiser is brilliant

I know Mac is expensive but their face and body foundation lasts flipping ages. Go in for a colour match and ask for a sample to try at home. They’ll give you about a weeks worth in a little pot.

Borjois healthy mix foundation
IT cosmetics CC Cream
Max Factor mascara
Glossier cloud pain blusher for some colour on your face

I personally don't think Mac is worth the price there are so many more products on the market that go above and beyond mac for the same price. If you were thinking about spending around that price I'd look at Fenty Beauty, Becca, Charlotte Tilbury, IT Cosmetics, Urban Decay etc. But a lot of drugstore brands are catching up too

Side note: If your skin is on the dry side, invest in a good quality moisturiser. (Hylauronic acid is great for skin), look at oils too- The Ordinary have a lovely Rosehip oil I would hugely recommend for dry skin to use at night.
