Can someone give me some advice? I have no skincare routine other than washing my face and bit of moisturiser. I have really dry parts but also get a bit spotty near my period. I also have some redness on my cheeks but nothing major. Any brilliant products anyone can recommend? Or a routine in general

I use a pretty simple routine from Boots no 7, a serum applied morning and night
Then day and night moisturiser. I have tried more expensive brands and always seem come back to this. Also they always have the 3 for price of 2 deal on Smile

Ooh. I love a good routine. Start basic and build up once you know what works for you. I would suggest;

Cleanser - something basic is good enough. I love gel/oil cleansers, and highly recommend Superfacialist Vit C oil cleanser - in Boots. Or, for a nice cream/hot cloth cleanser, Superdrug Naturally Radiant cleanser is fab. Well priced too. If you wear a full face, double cleanse at night, single cleanse in the morning. Use flannels to wash off.

Acid (exfoliant) - start gentle until you know what suits your skin. Rent Ready Steady Glow is good - M&S sell it.

Hyaluronic acid - this is optional. I love it. The Ordinary, Hada Labo, Indeed Labs all do good, well priced options. It grabs moisture from everywhere, makes your moisturiser work harder!

Spritz - Boots Botanics Rosewater spray is fab.

Moisturiser - I prefer gel again, Superdrug Vit C gel moisturiser is great, cheap and imo far better than Cliniques Moisture Surge, which is a similar product. Cream moisturiser wise, Beauty Pies Jeju night cream is lovely. Or the serum/moisturiser from the Naturally Radiant range at Superdrug (and they're always in BOGOF etc).

Hope this helps a bit?! Smile

depends how much single use plastic you want to involve and how much money you want to spend.
