Which facial acid thing is the best? - Garden of wonder

It's so bloody confusing. I don't want to spend more cash to end up giving them to DD or chucking them away.

I have ok skin. Have a few dry patches around my nose but other than that all good.

Use factor 50 each day (the water essence one) , Skin Luxe Hyaluronic with self tan in (but I understand that this isn't a peeling acid but a moisturising one, is this right?) then use a Lancôme Day cream and at night use micellar water and another Lancôme cream.

I bought some bits from TO but didn't like the smell of them and to be honest had no idea what I was doing with them or what order I should have used them in.

I've been looking at Garden of Wonder and thought it all looks good but not sure where I start. I like the tanning thing I use and both of the creams but should I be using acids and Retinoid........?

Thanking anyone who answers.

There are some really useful skincare documents on the Fantastic skincare thread - in the first post. It really depends on your skin and what you are hoping to get out of the products. I use a few things from GOW - the vitamin C serum, the azeliac acid serum, and the multi-peptides serum. The azeliac acid made a marked improvement in my skin tone pretty immediately. If anti-ageing is your goal and your skin takes well to it, an AHA, Vitamin C (a good stable one) serum and a retinol are considered to have a good evidence. Paula's choice do an AHA in a travel size which is good for trying out - I think it is from their Resist line. I really, really recommend reading the cheat sheets that Botemps has put together though to get a better understanding before you start buying all the products. Add one at a time to see what is working for you (and so you know what isn't working if your skin reacts to it).

Aw thank you that's brilliant advice and great idea to get travel sizes. I'll check it all out tomorrow.

There was an interview on Jo Whiley show last week with a skin care person that was very interesting . Try and have a listen to that . She recommends products , techniques .
Sorry cannot recall her name .
