Natural, cruelty free facial skincare

I currently use Arbonne when I can - yeah yeah I know its a pyramid scheme but it really suits my skin and ticks a lot of boxes for me, except the cost.
DP bought me a load of Arbonne stuff for my birthday back in June and it is starting to run out so I need to find something else that is similar but without the price tag.

I'm basically after:

  • Recyclable packaging
  • Natural as possible
  • Cruelty free

I'm looking for face wash, toner, serum and moisturiser (with SPF), and eye cream, and a night time moisturiser.

What would be my options for say £10-£15 for each item roughly?

Superdrug all the way
The vitamin e range is fab

Frazzlerock · 04/09/2019 12:31

Thanks Pram Smile That's natural, cruelty free and has recyclable packaging? I'll take a look!

I can't really tell how natural it is, or if it has recyclable packaging. Do you know where it states these things?

Holland and Barrett's have lots of nice stuff. I like the Dr Organics Rose range.

GreigLaidlawsbarofsoap · 04/09/2019 13:06

Tropic Skincare. I use it, it's been great for my sensitive skin. Vegan. Cruelty free. The cleanser and toner are in your price range. More for serums, night cream and eye stuff but it does last a really long time as you don't need much at all.

Frazzlerock · 04/09/2019 14:44

Ooh I like the look of Tropic. It's quite a bit cheaper than Arbonne and seems to be a very similar product. Thank you

You could try Garden of Wisdom. It’s cruelty-free, good balance of natural and proven actives, recyclable packaging and pretty much in your price range. I like their daily cleanser a lot, also their acid serums. I have their neuroproline serum to try when my current stuff runs out.

Also, as everyone’s skin is different, I’ve found these sites pretty helpful sources:
www.lovelula.com/
www.gloworganicbrighton.co.uk/
www.contentbeautywellbeing.com/
www.mypure.co.uk/
www.jandevrieshealth.co.uk/
www.ecco-verde.co.uk/
www.naturisimo.com/

There’s plenty of options out there, so you could find stuff to suit your skin. Off the top of my head, I’d say try looking at Lavera, Madara and Nourish London brands.

I second Tropic. I don't really use anything else now. There's a school mum sells it but it doesn't seem to be such a hard sell as those other skin care schemes. Maybe see if you know someone who does it so you can save on delivery charges. I use the cleanser, toner, night and day moisturisers plus the green face mask and super green serum.

I love Neals Yard Remedies. My skin gets dry and the rehydrating rose range suits it really well

Soola · 04/09/2019 17:07

I’ve gone for two of everything as I like to give new products a proper trial.

Regenacalm Pro with 3% Encapsulated Retinoid, Dill, Liquorice and Vitamin C

Regenerating Moisturiser M4 Pro with 3% Retinol Liposomes, Hyaluronic Acid and stabilised Vitamin C

Porebright N10 Serum with 10% Niacinamide and Azelaic Acid.

Dermalogica

BelleCarig · 04/09/2019 17:17

Give Justine Jenkins a follow (on Instagram @justinejenkins) she has loads of lovely cruelty free, vegan, eco packed make up (and she does some really lovely looks)

Alicatz66 · 04/09/2019 17:33

Superdrug and Bodyshop all the way for me ....

Drogosnextwife · 04/09/2019 17:36

@prampushingdownthehighst did you write that on another thread today or yesterday aswell? I was thinking about it after I read the first person say it was great, if it wasn't you, I'll have to go get it tomorrow.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/09/2019 21:43

I haven't tried but the "Ethique" range at H&B might fit the bill?

Frazzlerock · 05/09/2019 08:23

Thanks all.

@BelleCarig I'm not looking for make up, but thank you anyway. I'm also not using Instagram at the moment (and for the foreseeable future) as it (along with FB) gets on my nerves Grin

@CTRL I had no idea that Dermalogica was cruelty free, natural and recyclable packaging that's great! I will look at them.

@Soola Thank you for the link, I love the look of Face Theory. Thank you, I will have a look

@70isaLimitNotaTarget Ooh not heard of that. I will check it out

Try Go-To Skincare. It's insanely popular in Australia and ships worldwide. Has been fantastic for my sensitive skin!

usarae · 06/09/2019 12:50

I recently got some bits from e.l.f They are vegan and cruelty free. They do makeup and skin care. It's free delivery and a free gift on spends over £25 at the moment and they have a sale on :)
