Just that. Anyone that has fine frizzy hair - how do you manage it, what mistakes have you made in the past, what is your holy grail product.

Curly girl routine worked for me.

Are you curly, OP?
My mistakes usually involve trying out curly hair products with rave reviews, only to find that they are too rich/heavy for fine hair.
What works for me is not using conditioner. So just a nice moisturising shampoo, then a curly hair product. I like Aveda Be Curly, it's really light and not crispy or sticky when dry.
If you have time, leave to dry naturally and don't touch it until dry.
I've never tried the full curly girl method but I did go sulphate and silicone fee for a while and I wasn't keen.

I am frizzy wavy. I'd prefer to just be able to style my hair so that its straight ish and non frizzy.

The whole no conditioner idea is kind of intriguing to me. Did it work straight away or did it take a while to get used to?

I use products for afro-carribean hair, I have fine, wavy, caucasian, middle aged hair . It's been a revelation.
Cantu, ORS Olive Oil or ORS Curls Unleaded and Mixed Chicks are ace.

It's saved me a fortune too as I don't need a tonne of the stuff to get it to work. I've never blow dried or coloured my hair. But now it gets lovely waves and spirals Smile.

Wow I would have never thought of using afro Caribbean hair!

Orofluido oil and a Cloud 9. Different shampoo and conditioner doesn't do much for my hair. I switch them up regularly with various light shampoos/conditioner.

I use curly girl products but never go no-poo - there are lots of ranges out there (often for Afro hair but not always) that have shampoo and conditioner for fine, curly hair with no SLS and silicones.

I like Cantu, Jessicurl, Boucleme and have just discovered Only Curls which I absolutely love. Possibly the best ever product I had was from Curls but it was so highly fragranced I couldn't stand it.

Just go on a website like Naturalistic Products and see what you like - most brands have v helpful websites as well.

I have fine frizzy hair which isnt curly and I love sebastian potion 9. When it was longer I used the lite version but now its short I use the regular version. I also use Moroccan oil light after washing.

I used to use both of them but went off them for reasons I really can't remember. I'll try them again.
