I have shoulder length thin hair. I want to achieve something like this..

What products would you recommend? Would you curl it? If so which is the best one? I'm not very good with hair and beauty things!

My hairdresser does this for me, so watching this thread with interest, I cannot copy it. She says just to keep trying until you get the hang of it.

Me too

I get this look with a wand. Babyliss, about £20. I just wrap the hair round in sections and then once it's all curled, I tip head upside down and run my fingers through. If it's still too curly I'll give it a good brush. It usually lasts me 3 days with dry shampoo in roots too!

V easy option: wash hair at night, plait while wet and undo plaits in morning. Smaller / tighter plaits, tighter waves.... Bigger looser plaits, more gentle waves...

Here is my day 3 hair as an example. Excuse my very professional "hide my fat face" scribbling 😂

I second a wand. It's how I do mine now, and how I did that style when hairdressing. You can achieve it with a round brush and hairdryer but is much easier with a wand, quick wrap around hair and run fingers/brush through it.

I use a babyliss big wave wand and it's perfect for loose waves. I curl it all, leave it for a few mins to set then brush it through and it's perfect. The waves normally last me about 4 days too

I use straighteners - sounds counter intuitive but you get exactly this wave - you tube videos help
