Best hairdryer for fine straight thin low volume hair

Basically this. Looking for hairdryer that adds volume but doesn't totally fry my hair. My hair is mid length and totally straight so anything that is vaguely antifrizz flattens it completely.
I tried a parlux alyon (ionic) but my hair felt very flat and was almost too soft to get volume into it, it was like I put tonnes of conditioner on it.
Don't mind spending a bit of money on this. Any thoughts wise women of Mumsnet?

Have you tried a hot air brush instead of a hairdryer?
Dry hair upside down and then at roots. I only then dry the lengths if they need it or to style.

I also have fine mid-length hairs that lacks volume (although mine is slightly wavy). I've found using a Diva Dynamic makes a HUGE difference. It just makes my flyaway hair somehow less flyaway and more shiny looking. I used a Diva for the first time at my old PT studio and the difference was visible.....so I bought my own and am very happy! I use an older model of this one:

Yes dame, I dry upside down and then shape. Use a ceramic brush etc.
Hundred I will take a look at the diva!

Babyliss big hair is fantastic!

Go on YouTube and find The Salon Guy ‘best blow dry tips ever’ video.
I found it very useful for my very fine hair.
Try a Big Hair, they really are quite good.

The babyliss big hair loses power though doesn’t it? I’ve had two and they just seem to give up the ghost.

Hi Daffodil
Yes I hopped over to Amazon and saw similar reviews.

I've had 2 over about the last 5 /6 years or so. Saves me loads of time & have had hairdryers blow up on me before. Still worth it IMO 🤷🏻‍♀️

Might be worth a go, would love to have beautiful locks!
