Eyelash extensions...how to tidy them up?

Hiya!

Had half set of eyelash extensions done 6 days ago. They looked absolutely stunning and I loved them. Couldn’t barely feel them or any weight and I couldn’t see any hint of glue, frankly I wasn’t expecting them to look that perfect.

Annoying I woke up this morning rubbing my eye. Took a few seconds to consciously realise I was rubbing the extensions!

Now they look a bit bunched together and squiffy on that eye.

I tried combing and brushing them but it’s like I’ve folded them and they are stuck in their new position!

Any tips for straightening them out??

Have you been washing them? I find that helps a great deal. Ideally you should be doing so daily with something like baby shampoo. I then let them dry for ten minutes and comb them through. Tends to sort out any that are messed up. I go two-three weeks between appointments and they still look fab.

Eyelash curlers? Not too hard, just grip them, move them, grip them etc along the shape.

Writersblock2 why baby shampoo? Why not a non oily facial wash?

I’ve just been letting water run over them in the shower, not in the jet but as it naturally runs down my face.

Can I use micillar water?

1 part baby shampoo to 2 parts water. Mix into a foam and dip the lash brush in and give them a good wash with the brush. Rinse and let dry and then brush again with a clean dry brush. You can buy lash cleanser on Amazon ect too.

Also stay clear of any oil based products.

You could use a face wash. Basically anything gentle and non-oily.

Just water won’t be enough to get rid of any crusted sleep etc. Micellar tends to contain oil.
