Hi All,

Ive trawled high and low on the internet to not come to much result. Every website is either paid to mention or paid to mention! I have pale rosacea skin on my face, (mild to medium rosacea) large pores and blemishes and my skin just doesnt look nice without make up unfortunately.

Im looking for any advice on products, facials or treatments. Im in my early 30s and i really need to find a great product/treatment to try fix this as it does really knock my confidence. I have quite oily skin, any one else the same and have any recommendations?

Any help/advice is more than welcome from REAL people!

Thank you all in advance :)

I have similar issues. At the moment I’m using Pai Calming range, although I bought Drunk Elephant Slaai Cleanser last week as it was cheaper and I’m skint.
I use IT Cosmetics Matte CC Cream as it covers pores without sinking it and highlighting them and is easily topped up if you want more coverage.

@FatTwat69 - Thats great thank you, I havent even heard of those products so just goes to show the market is manipulated by the bigger companies that pay! Have you found those products reduce your redness?

The Pai range is lovely, really soothing and doesn’t make my skin sore which often happens with products.
I’d say it definitely has made it less reactive and less red (and I’ve tried a lot of stuff over the years), shame it’s so expensive but I get the bundle deal when I can afford it.

The only thing that manages my rosacea is Oxytetracycline from my GP. I usually take it for about two months every time it gets really bad.

I too had really oily skin, but also with some dry, flaky patches. I did some research and it actually sounded like my skin was dehydrated, not oily, and my skin was producing oil to overcompensate. I started using an oil cleaner once a week, which sounds counterintuitive but it works, and my skin has really improved. The dry patches have disappeared completely and I'm no longer a greaseball within a few hours. Worth looking into OP in case your skin is actually dehydrated.

Paula's Choice Calm is a great range for soothing and calming. They do a sample pack as well which is great for a trial Grin

Soolantra cream works for me! I tried everything, several different types of antibiotics, creams changed my skincare but the only real difference came when I tried soolantra cream. You can get it on prescription either from your doctors or online. It made a huge difference to my skin and I no longer get the breakouts. It also reduced the redness. I was so conscious of my skin and it was a game changer!

Soolantra and jojoba oil as a cleanser. Fab.

My skin sounds exactly like yours. I've found Dermalogicas medibac range really effective xx
