Swimwear / beachwear help!

We've had a gorgeous day on the beach in Wales today but I feel such a frump!

My swimsuit is awful. The top half just squashes my boobs practically down to my waist so I think I need something with proper cup support.

And what to wear over it when pottering in the beach? I hate my legs so the more coverage there the better but in the right shorts / skirt I might feel ok.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm size 12, pear shaped with biggish boobs. I've got the hang of looking half decent at work but the beach is HARD!!!

I doubt if you will get a larger selection than Figleaves. Tops and bottoms come in individual sizes.

In my 40s now, I gave up putting something on to potter about the beach (unless I have been sunbathing topless, then I put my top back on) long ago.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Figleaves.

Agree with Figleaves you can get pretty halterneck underwired bikini tops in bra sizes that are very flattering.

Accessorize & River Island Beach section online have nice beach cover ups as do Debenhams.
Personally I wear short kaftans on the beach to protect my shoulders & back. I like them to be embellished & glam!

I have this... in this print and plain black, I didn't specifically go for the hold in bit, more that they do a longer length as I have a long body, but wow the shape is fantastic, great cleavage and I feel confident in it

I wear tankinis, there's several brands that do them in proper bra sizes. More coverage than a bikini but more practical than a swimsuit.

Thanks for the recommendations - @DragonNoodleCake that swimsuit is a bargain!

I can't bring myself to wear a bikini ( 4 kids including twins and a c section later, it's definitely past its best) but a tankini might be doable too.
