Any recommendations? I can only find matte. Happy to spend if I get a good recommendation.
Thanks

Sali Hughes has just done an instagram video on this a couple of days ago, which should be easy to find if you have it. She recommends about 5 good ones.

NoBaggyPants · 30/07/2019 22:09

Laura Mercier

LagoDiComo · 30/07/2019 22:09

I like Bare Minerals invisible glow

Plump82 · 30/07/2019 22:21

Hour Glass Ambient Light. Expensive but gorgeous!

ovenchips · 30/07/2019 22:25

On Sali Hughes' recommendation I've just started using Avon illuminating pearls. Really lovely subtle glowy finish. Cheap as chips. I use it as setting powder.

EnidButton · 30/07/2019 22:26

These are some of SH'e recommendations from her insta video. She mentioned more but these were the three that appealed to me so I made a note. I haven't tried any of them yet.

By terry brightening cc powder
It cosmetics bye bye pores illumination
Bobbi brown illuminating powder

Atlasta · 30/07/2019 22:29

I think the I (heart) Makeup powders in Superdrug are fantastic.Cheap at around £5 and just as good if not better than some expensive brands.

Ninkaninus · 31/07/2019 11:14

Bobbi Brown.

Olajs · 31/07/2019 11:22

Lily Lolo is good - glowy but not glittery.

bushes · 31/07/2019 13:05

Hourglass.

TheCatThatDanced · 31/07/2019 13:09

Bourjois Rice Java powder is illuminating and gives a nice glow - I much prefer it to my Becca highlighter. Only trouble is you can't find it in store in Boots/Superdrug anymore but you can order and collect from Superdrug and get online (Look Fantastic etc).

GingerRogers84 · 31/07/2019 13:26

Revolution have a really good one. Also second a pp who mentioned Bourjois rice powder one in the little green tub.
Higher end wise I would go for Hourglass powders.

Kaz2200 · 31/07/2019 15:30

Laura geller balance n glow, fabulous, cant recommend it highly enough

TheCatThatDanced · 31/07/2019 15:46

GingerRogers84 I think I've used the Revolution one too. The Bourjois one is an excellent cost effective one.

Have seen the Hourglass but after trying a similar Becca one would really have to try this out properly (and I tried the Becca) - I'm usually a high end girl for lots of products so was disappointed in the Becca.

Some excellent recommendations here. Thanks so much

Just want to say I really don’t get the hype for the Hourglass powders - and they’re so expensive for what they are - rubbish!!

applesandacorns · 31/07/2019 21:54

Kiko Radiant Fusion powder is nice.

Def hourglass. Glowy without glittery

Pinkvici22 · 01/08/2019 07:05

Agree Hourglass - made me look so much more awake and glowy

Verite1 · 01/08/2019 08:43

Just checked and my hourglass is luminous light. It seems dark in the set, but it really isn’t (I am v pale). I have travel sized, got it at Xmas and still loads left.

Verite1 · 01/08/2019 08:44

By the way - I tried the bare minerals one and it was too glittery for me

TheCatThatDanced · 01/08/2019 13:05

HiHellohi - totally agree with you re Hourglass - seen them in Space NK etc and people trying them out (on trains??!!) but I don't get the hype for them either. Wish I did!
