Nice maternity / nursing bras

Anyone know where to find some?? Most of my underwear is brightly coloured - today I bought a lovely silk and lace emerald-green bra from M&S, and three pairs of knickers to wear with it; one lacy mustard, one lacy fuschia, and one navy with pictures of tigers on it.
But, I'm 24 weeks pregnant and will soon need to be in maternity and nursing bras. I've scoured M&S and Debenhams (my usual go-tos because my bra budget is only about £25-30 per bra) and they invariably come in plain T-shirt style, in black, white, and "nude" - which is never actually nude on me because I'm mixed race. I know I'll probably be largely concerned with comfort over style by that point, but surely even breastfeeding mums want pretty colourful bras or something with a bit of lace sometimes?!

OP, loving bright colours myself (no white or beige in my top drawer) l feel for you but afraid I can offer little inspiration. Just be pleased that things have got a little better but nursing mums are still denied pretties. The industry still thinks we should just be functional milk machines.

I remember years back, my sister (her 2 are adults now!) being looked at horrified when she asked a shop assistant if a nursing bra came in black! She was told that if came in white because white was the colour of purity! Clearly no understanding of how those babies got in there either, apart from being rude!

As for so called nude bras, they make my tits look like cardboard.

Good luck! x

Have you seen the Hotmilk range?

You don't need special maternity bras. Just go up in sizes as needed and you can happily wear normal bras. Same for feeding, I bought normal supportive Freya and Fantasie bras from ebay and converted them, dead easy to do.

Thanks for your responses.
Starlight Yes, it is certainly nice not to only have irrationally virginial white as an option! Your poor sister!
The Hotmilk (hilarious name!) range has some promising bits in, and looking at them also promoted Google to show me Royce, which has a couple pretty options, so thanks BikeRunSki
Katharina, I'm reasonably competent with a needle and thread but confess it hadn't occurred to me to convert normal bras! That could be the cheapest option as I lost some weight a whole ago and still have some too-big bras that might fit once my milk is in. Do you have a recommended technique/tutorial?

Another vote for hotmilk!

@JonnyPocketRocket have you come across Delilah Ruby? The actress Helen Flanagan's range. They definitely don't look like standard nursing bras- I'm currently thinking of ordering some...only no idea what size I am now!
