What do those of you who overpronate wear on your feet that isn’t runners?
I recently discovered I do this, and have insoles which I wear a good bit. Handy when it’s winter, but i love my sandals in summer. Have been wearing these in gold for the last week and my ankle/knee now killing me.
Would love some nice suggestions for summer footwear that doesn’t look orthopaedic?
Thanks.

Posting for info as I have this too ... I tried insoles and found them impossible to walk in - painful.

I wear fitflops all year round and have found they really help my appalling gait.

Fitflops look quite ‘clumpy’ though. Am I destined to a lifetime of clumpy shoes?
Sparkly it takes a few days to get used to the insoles as they correct your positioning and your feet/body aren’t used to it. You start off with them in for an hour or two and then work up to permanent use.

Have a look at Vionics and earth spirit.

I find I need a built up arch and ideally a bit of a wedge something like this may suit - www.vionicshoes.co.uk/women/sandals/pepper.html?76=274

Fitflops. Fitflops. The styles are getting better and there's a sale on at the minute. They really have been a god send for me.

I normally live in my trainers with insoles for my flat feet but I can walk miles in my Teva Kayenta sandals ( I think the Elzada is the new version. I didn't get on with fitflops though, not enough support to stop my ankles rolling but I didn't have ones with straps.

Sparkly, I never did get used to the half insoles that the podiatrist made for me but Superfeet work well for me.

Second Bionics, well worth the money! I had to super glue a leather insole into my sandals to deal with smelly feet though, but they are soooo comfortable! Strangely I have never had any issue when I wear havaianas either...

Thank you for suggestions.

Thanks CadiM I will look into Superfeet - could barely walk in the ones I got from Boots.

Vionic sandals . I used to wear Fitflops but the wobbly soles destabilised my knees too much.
Now I pretty much wear solely Vionic shoes as the insoles are never as comfortable as the actual shoes.
