Wand for wavy hair ?

Hello !

I'm after a wand (?) or curling tongue for my hair. I want waves in it, not tight curls.
I have tried with my straighteners but the results aren't great.
Had a wavy blow dry at the hairdressers and she used GHD'S but they're a bit spendy.

Can anyone reccomend anything ? I'd say budget was up to £50 and would need a medium barrel
My hair is shoulder length.

Thanks!!

I have no idea what to suggest but It's exactly what I'm after so bumping for someone more useful to answer 😁

I’ve found this to be really easy to use (and I’m terrible at styling my hair) and gives my hair a nice wave.

Omg the Babyliss one is amazing. I'm a recent convert after giving EVERYTHING else a try. This thing is just so good. Really easy to use, gives lovely waves and they stay put. Amazon doesn't seem to want to let me share it via a link so I screenshot it.

I am dying to try out the new ghd wave thing... Oracle(?) I believe. It hasn’t been released yet in Aus.

Babyliss Smooth and Wave is really good and very easy to use. It might be above your budget though.

I've got a wand specifically for waves. I cant remember the make..

But it's a rectangle barrel not round or tapered. It's great for beachy looking waves.

The trick is to alternate each curl. Start away from tou face, then the next one toward, then away, then towards ect. This will stop them clumping together and looking too curly and 'done'. Then finger through, flip head upside down and give a good shake.

I never take a brush to my hair after using a wand, ruins the effect.

the Lee Stafford bobble one is good.

The Lee Stafford bobbly one looks a tad rude and scary for me !

I'm impressed by the smooth and wave but it's expensive.
