Damaged my hair colour-stripping - how to help it

Ignore my name, I'm about as far from that as you can imagine!

Long story, but stripped by hair colour with a colour stripper - turned my hair orange - and have had to go to hairdressers to try and deal with the situation! Cue, lowlights, highlights and toner.

Anyway, my hair definitely is a better colour now, but it is damaged of course, more dry and fine.

Time will help of course. But any ideas on what I could do to speed this process up? I have heard of Olaplex as being good - and have ordered online the conditioning treatment.

But is there any oil that works as a conditioning treatment between washes, as its still dry after conditioning treatments.

All help and advice greatly appreciated.

Olaplex is fine but it doesn’t work to it’s maximum unless you’ve had the full salon treatment

To be fair I’ve never really rated it.

Coconut oil is your friend here :)

cheers, inthebackground.

I've just gotta leave my hair alone-ish for a while!

What kind of coconut oil? I do have some from Boots: Garnier Ultimate Blend Coconut Hair Oil. It is actually quite good but of course it has its limitations.

Anything better?
