Foundation that lasts but doesn't cake ??

Arghh I hate my face and I hate make up!!

No matter what foundation I wear it either makes me look older than I am or it slides off my face within a hour!

I’ve got fine lines (34) so not loads but my eye area isn’t great I have bad tear trough and lines and my skin is combo, I think! It gets dry in the winter and goes normal in the summer. I applied with and without primer tryed verious brands including high end EL to rimmel! And I can’t get on with any of them! The EL cakes my face and ages me, and the rimmel, no7, revlon just slides off my face and I mean literally, when I apply it to my face and nose area it smears! It smears when I use a buffing brush ( real techniques ) and when I use a sponge it just moves about.

I like full coverage foundations but I’ve realised they don’t suit me, I’d love a foundation that lasts a full work day.

Can anybody give me some tips please and recommendations for foundations and primers.I haven’t got a huge budget atm but I’d say I could justify £15 for each product.

TIA

Ime the EL is fab but does make a huge difference how you apply it,what have you tried?

I use to Borjois (spelling) healthy mix foundation, it's really luminous and long lasting!

Youtube search Jeffree Star, he did a UK "haul" recently and used a Barry M all night long one - I'm saying search him because I can't remember if it was that exact one, and he loved it!

Primarks EL dupe is good too! Its in a glass cube bottle (again I cant remember the name) it's not too full coverage so it isn't cakey at all but it doesn't budge!

Use a flat foundation brush to "paint" your foundation on at first to cover most areas of your skin in a light layer, then use a wet beauty blender to really blend it into your skin, I find this is the best technique
