Can you wear sunscreen and have your hair down?

I can't seem to master this ever. Say you're going for lunch or to a beer garden on a really sunny day, and want to wear a nice top, and your hair down (rather than up in a pony). Hair sticks to cream, have to keep moving it, gets greasy, have to tie it up.
Unless there's some amazing grease free sunscreen anyone can recommend? Ps I have frizzy hair that I straighten with GHD, which really doesn't help Grin

If its sunny enough to be sitting outside in the sun then for me at least its too hot to wear my hair down, maybe a different suncream may help, ive seen non sticky ones out there

I have very long hair and I’ve never had this problem. Are you rubbing in the cream properly?

Try altruist spf 50, available on Amazon. Once it’s rubbed in, you don’t know it’s there. I wear it every day, and it never even crossed my mind that my hair might stick to it.

Have a look at Ultrasun. I trialled a few brands as I'm ginger, blue eyed and like Casper the Friendly Ghost and was a bridesmaid in Mexico in a pale dress so wanted something that wouldn't be sticky. It's awesome stuff!!

P20, just give it a while to dry in before dressing

I second Altruist. I live in the Caribbean and have it shipped in or have family bring in bulk.

I wear my hair down all the time. I apply in the morning, let it set in and 15 mins later nothing.

If you're on the beach or in scorching sweaty weather nothing will stop your hair sticking, it's the sweat, not the sun cream.

The only other way is with sun spray aerosols that you can spray on your back. They're non sticky as well.

La Roche Posay AntiHelios anti-shine. SPF 50 and not sticky at all... and I say that as someone that avoids lip gloss like the plague because of the sticky/hair factor!
