Comfortable, easy to walk in, high heels?

As the title says really!

My new partner is eight inches taller than me... I want to be a bit taller on nights out. I've tried on a few pairs of heels, but found them too hard to walk in or uncomfortable!

Where can I get a nice pair of comfy heels?

Not sure, but pick me up a unicorn and a flying pig while you're there. Wink

More comfortable to remove part of his lower leg

I don’t wear them anymore. They’re ridiculous things we use to disable ourselves and put us at a disadvantage in the hope of looking more attractive to men. If you really feel you need then, go with a wedge or a platform sole which are more secure.

IAmAlwaysLikeThis · 04/07/2019 05:19

Wedges are always more comfortable or anything with a bit of a platform.

Yes we shouldn't have to wear heels but as a shortarse, being able to occasionally look people in the eye is very pleasant and, sadly, gets me better treatment (ie as an adult not as a child).

I find kurt guider shoes with the hidden platform to be the most comfortable.

I hate heels, but have these from United Nude, which are comfy and actually foot-shaped:

I’ve still fallen over in them though.

Perhaps easier to get used to the height difference than get used to wearing heels?

If you don't normally wear high heels I wouldn't start to if it's not your thing.
Wedges and platforms are the way to go as said above if you're happy with it.

I got a cheap pair of KG wedges in a charity shop yesterday. They seem okay so far...

But yes, anything with a thin heel is too sore. Sad
