Can anyone recommend an SPF moisturiser for the eyes that doesn't seep into the eyes causing me to 'cry' and blink like a crazy for the rest of the day??

One of those stick ones would be ideal, so it could be reapplied throughout the day.

Just had another sunburn round the eyes, and it's driving me mad now. There MUST be something out there?

La roche posay has one specifically for sensitive eyes. It comes in 30 and 50 spf and it is the only one (apart from all minerals) that doesn't sting my eyes. It's got a blue stripe across the tube

The Body Shop Skin Defence. I have this exact problem and it's the only one that doesn't make my eyes stream.
Not cheap, but TBS often do offers, and a little goes a long way. My last bottle lasted 2 years and I used it every day apart from in the dead of winter.

I have this problem. My dermatologist a few years ago told me just apply as close as I can bear (which in my case is a good half-inch away from my eyelids), and wear wrap around sunglasses with solid arms with UV protection and a hat. I'm now that weirdo wearing sunglasses most of the year.

I have since discovered that Biore watery essence SPF50+ doesn't sting so I can apply on my eyes, but I still wear the sunglasses and hat when in full sun.

Jemima - I have the Skin Defence and would you believe it's one of the ones that cause a problem! Which is so annoying as it's great, so light and easy to reapply during the day. It's so frustrating having to stop before I get to the eye area. I agree with you, it lasts ages!

Thanks Reticule, I will consider that one, especially as it says it's tested on contact lens wearers and specifically mentions the eye area. Xiaoxiong - actually have some of those glasses that my mum used to wear! May have to start using them....

This is great for using on your eyelids too. www.laroche-posay.com/products-treatments/Anthelios/Anthelios-XL-Sensitive-Areas-Stick-SPF-50-p20769.aspx I used it when I had stitches near my brow bone and I have extremely sensitive eyes and it was fine. Eucerin do a great face one for sensitive eyes too, and I prefer it to the one reticule posted above for my dry skin.

Just popping back to say "thank you" to reticule - that cream you recommended is absolutely perfect. Couldn't find it in Boots on Monday so ordered one online. In the meantime I bought another La Roche Posay (having never tried this brand before) that said something about non-stinging, and that worked too. Am so thrilled to finally find something!! Thank you.

notasgreen - I will be buying that stick too when I locate it!

Oh good! I've also just road tested the biore watery essence one and no stingy eyes with that either, though I'm not so keen on the texture. It's bloody miraculous to have options though.
