Tear trough filler?

Has anyone had this done, could you please share your experience?

I just had a consultation where the practitioner said that it’s very likely that the area may be left with imperfections (eg lumps where you can see the filler) as the area is so tricky.

My daughter had this done,it was not a success, yes lumpy and didnt look good, she had to have it dissolved, which can be done if it doesn't turn out right, she did have it done again with someone else, but it doesn't seem to last long,it did look god the second time, immeitely after, but went back to normal before too long

Hi. I had it done almost two weeks ago and am really disappointed with it. I can't see any improvement at all. Was recommended for my undereye wrinkles at the consultation. Back for my two week check up on Tuesday and I'll be saying how disappointed I am. Being honest I feel like I may as well have set my money on fire.

They say you should see an improvement straight away and it should settle over two weeks.

I feel like the wrinkles nearly look worse and my nose looks a bit crooked.

Have a little look at the consultant clinic it's ran by Drs, they have really good reviews and often do a lot of correction work done by other practitioners.
I feel them saying you could be left with lumps is them just covering themselves as they are not confident with their own technique and worry incase it's doesn't go 💯 . (I could be wrong)

I asked about this, my Dr wasn't keen as he said I could get very bad bruising.

ZydecoLaydee · 30/06/2019 09:50

I had mine done and love them. No lumps or bruising and 4 months down the line they are still looking great. I had them in conjunction with some slight cheek fillers to act as a scaffold.

They were something that used to really get me down and all I saw when I looked in the mirror. There is risk with the procedure, but I felt it couldn’t look any worse!

You could try mid face filler too as sometimes this is enough to help improve the tear trough area. I have seen some good results with tear trough filler. It is best to do it in 2 stages so the first time should be slightly underfilled, then when you go back a few weeks later thry can add some more product if needed.
You don't want a filler that attracts too much water in that area, so something like teosyal redensity 2. Don't get a product like juvederm volume in this delicate area.

*Juvederm voluma

I found it a complete waste of money and barely any difference.

The procedure wasn’t very pleasant either and I did bruise so don’t have it done if you are working the next day or two.

Thank you all, really interesting.

I don’t think I’ll go to this clinic for procedure, as like another PP said, they are probably inexperienced. Apparently it’s the hardest area to administer filler in.

@ZydecoLaydee that sounds interesting - do you have any before & after pics?
