Philips Lumea - some help/advice on using on face/chin/throat area

I have finally bought one to use on body and face but after reading instructions I’m a bit worried to use this on my face & chin as I have been using a mild acid toner. On the instructions it says not to use if have recently used these type of acids. I use one ever 2 weeks usually so how long would I need to wait until I can safely use it?

Also worried about using it on the throat area. The instructions say jawline but no mention of throat and the guidance for men is not to be used on beard/neck area.
Does this mean it can’t be used on the throat?
Has anyone used it on this area?

And finally if I do use on these area will I have to completely shave this area first? I have a lot of fine white hair amongst the bloody thick black ones. Are they going to burn and sting if I don’t?!

TIA

I don't have a lunea but I have had lots of laser hair removal, so based off that my advice would be - acid toner should be avoided but if you only use it every couple of weeks just time the hair removal for a week or 2 after use, not in the initial few days after use. Shave everywhere prior to use and neck area (I think!) is fine. I have had professional laser hair removal literally on my entire body apart from head and brows and that is surely stronger?! Good luck!

I can’t answer about the acid toner as I don’t use them but I do use on my cheeks, chin and upper lip. I dry shave them first using a dermaplane shaver (not a full on razor basically).
I use mine under my chin towards my neck if that makes sense! So I guess you could call it the throat.
And yes it is weird that it says women can use it on their face but men can’t, I always wondered about that!
