Is Niacinamide (The Ordinary) supposed to sting?

Just got it this week - put it on couple of nights ago and was fine. Put it on tonight and my chin is stinging. Should I wash it off or is that normal?

It doesn't sting when I use it. Personally I wouldn't use something that made my skin sting. Could you try a smaller patch test somewhere just to see if it always stings or if it was something you did before applying it that made it sting?

It can feel a bit tingly but it shouldn't sting as such.

I really rate niacinamide. Used it for a long period but wasn't sure if it was doing much, so swapped to Buffet (the newer one). Haven't got on well with that at all, and those pesky whiteheads have all come back. Back to niacinamide and they've disappeared in less than a week.

I don't have that but I have the CerVe moisturiser with niacinamide in it and it did feel a bit tingly initially. I'd go very slowly with it, OP. Put a drop into your moisturiser or oil every third night, then every second night, then every night, then two drops etc.
