I thought I'd go to the people who have their fingers on the pulse of fashion... 😁

I'm looking for some nice headscarves / wraps for a gorgeous young friend of mine who has lost her hair after a tumour- removal operation.

Everything I have found looks quite matronly and my friend is a young trendy mum in her early thirties.

Any ideas where I could look, fashionistas ?

Without a doubt, Silke London hair wraps. They look very glam. They're not cheap at £50 but worth it. Best place to get one is online from Cult Beauty as postage is free with them (whereas Silke themselves and Net a Porter charge postage).

I'm also told by a friend in fashion that Anthropologie is the place for these.

OK soz I didn't read the thread properly. Ignore me, sorry, I didn't realise you wanted full head coverings.

Some nice things at Anthropologie but I think she will need a bit more coverage!

Seasalt bands are very comfortable and can be worn in different ways

Both I and my daughter lost our hair ( in different years) with chemo ( DD at 18) and neither of us ended up wearing scarves etc. They simply weren't comfortable. We both ended up wearing a knitted hat when we felt we needed to cover our bald heads, whic was mainly when people visited. Hers was much trendier than mine! So my advice is don't spend lots to start with but see how she gets on with one maybe .

My daughter did have one from here which she liked but only wore once. I think chemo makes you really hot. Obviously your friend may not be having chemo or may react differently. Cancer charities all have links to headgear. Best wishes to your friend.

She can buy any scarves that she likes the colour and design of and YouTube videos on how to do headwraps/bow turbans etc. Takes seconds once you get the hang of it

Many thanks Pixie and Soover. Will look at your suggestions.

My friend has had a really rough journey but the future looks positive ❤️.
