Can I use a Lumea on my face?

Not for hair removal, which I've been doing for a few weeks, but for a couple of sun spots across my cheekbones?

I've seen a lot of beauty salons offer IPL for pigmentation so I was wondering if a Lumea would have the same effect. I'd make sure my eyes were well covered, of course!

Yes, absolutely for beard and 'tache. Very good and effective.

Not for eyebrows though as too close to the eye.

I meant for sun spots, not hair removal. I'm doing tache and chin already!

Haha, the first line of your post was “not for hair removal”!!
I’m afraid I don’t know but bumping up for you op

Oooo
I've got broken capillaries on my cheek I wonder if it would zap that.
I'm going to give it a go.

The intensity of light that your home system emits won't be high enough for pigmentation so it won't work. You'll need to go to a salon for that

PineappleFwitters · 18/06/2019 07:34

Thanks @TheChineseChicken, I knew someone would know!

FWIW I have had it on my face at a salon and it works. You'll need a few sessions to bring it all to the surface and it's not cheap

HarryHenderson · 18/06/2019 07:40

I wonder if it would work on mild acne scars?

Sorry.. you've got me pondering!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 18/06/2019 08:19

Maybe I'm imagining it but I have mild rosacea on my cheeks and I find my lumea helps when I get a breakout of blisters there.

Does bugger all on my hair though.

After one session my 'tache regrowth has really slowed down. Wish I could say the same about the chin hairs, but I'll persist! Might try shaving them before treatment instead of plucking next time. Apparently that can work better.
