Work Experience Clothes

My 15 year old DD is doing her work experience in my office in a few weeks. She's very fussy with clothes and is a proper 'jeans, tee shirt and trainers' kind of girl.

I'm goi g to take her to Primark for skirts and trousers but any other ideas for cheap work clothes for someone her age would be appreciated. Shoes are a particular sticking point as she point black refuses to wear ballet flats!

Uniqlo for clothes
How about brogues or even a patent DM type shoe? Both would look great a cropped trouser

Would she wear brogues or loafers?

Asda have plain black trousers for £6, make sure skirts are nearly to the knee. If it's just a couple of weeks she only needs a couple of bottoms and 3-4 tops

School uniform is usually adapted for work experience, I wouldn't be downing a lot of money for a short term placement. Maybe some basic black trousers that can be utilised for other things, not primary though. They are not very well cut at all.

I also would adapt school uniform tbh. I've had work experience people working with me before and lots wore schooo trousers / skirt and white shirt. One memorable 17yo looked seriously dapper, but I think that's how he dressed anyway!

Unless she's planning to get a job anyway, some time soon. But then, a lot of the usual places where teenagers work ime have uniform.

She can wear her school shoes. Ballet flats give no support and are crap as a shoe. I would not wear them myself. Dont spend money on stuff she won't wear again.
