My straighteners have died & I need new ones. They were Remington wide plate ones & about 100 years old.

There are 12 billion choices on Amazon/Boots/Argos etc, & they all have (possibly fake) good reviews.
Just bought & returned Glamoriser budget ones as they were shit.

I can't afford Cloud 9 or GHDs.
Maximum budget is £40-50ish.
I have poker straight hair so use them to wave hair & make my fringe less idiotic.
Fine hair but lots of it.
Can you recommend any please
Grin?

try the nicky clarke ones x

Babyliss ones are usually pretty reliable.

Must admit that I've just bought my first ever set of GHDs though, and bloody love them.

Nooooooo! Remus, don't say that. I am so tempted...Confused

Definitely Babyliss Elegance ( purple ones) often in the sales as there are new versions. Got mine for £35 from Studio last year. I've seen them on offer but usual price £70. They are great.

there is a pair of new ghds going on ebay..link- perhaps if you message the seller early enough she will let you have them for the asking price?

I got this one at Christmas and am happy with it. For that price, it's a complete steal!

I have Label M straighteners which they use in my hairdressers. Every bit as good as ghds and cost about £70
