I want to start this, my hair is just too frizzy and i can’t stand it anymore.
I’ve joined the Facebook group but people are just so into it and I feel so confused. Has anyone recently started and has a simple list of products I should start with??

I think the principle is basically wash your hair with conditioner and don't use any silicones or parabens etc in your hair. I did it for a while but didn't like the co washing.

Now, I use a shampoo, but I use the cantu range, which I believe is CG friendly. The biggest difference for me, in plopping. I have a hair turban and when I use it, I'm left with beautiful curls.

So you have to do a 'final wash' with a harsh shampoo that you shouldn't normally use because it has sulphates in it, however for this last wash, they get rid of residual silicones in your hair. You probably already have a shampoo that fits this bill, just check the ingredients list for sulphates.

Conditioner wise - on the facebook group they have photo albums dedicated to products available in each country. I use the argan conditioner from Holland and Barratt.

I tried the CG method but it didn't work for me. I have wavy rather than curly hair and the conditioner only regime was just too heavy for my fine hair. There is a LOT of trial and error. I now stick to CG friendly products though as it is better for my hair.
