Help- spot on my nose seems to have become permanent!

I developed a spot/ pimple almost at the end of my nose a few months ago. Patiently waited for it to heal and disappear like most spots do, but it hasn’t really. Although there’s no white head on, it it’s got a noticeable bump to it and is red.

Please, please does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of it?

You probably ought to get it checked by the doctor.
Other than that, I'm waiting to see some good tips, as I've had a lumpy pimple for over a year now.

I’d go to the dr, it’s not normal is it?. My dr likes skin things, she says people put up with too much.

Once you’ve had it checked, if it’s nothing you could try tea tree oil.
I had a pore on my neck that kept “refilling” and tea tree oil sorted it.

I don't want to unnecessarily alarm you but that sounds exactly like the start of my mums basal cell carcinoma. Def get it checked out by the Dr.

Don't panic though, extremely common and easily removed x

If it's a very small pimple, it sounds like a red mole. I know two people who have them on the tip of their nose - it seems to be a common location. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to remove them without scarring which could look worse. I would see your GP just in case.

I have something similar which has been diagnosed as a sebaceous keratosis - if you google it the pictures look more like small moles but mine just looks like a teeny tiny (but permanent) spot. There’s lots of benign things it could be before leaping to carcinoma, so definitely don’t panic! Mine can be fixed by a £90 laser treatment apparently, just haven’t got round to doing it yet.

You want to see a dermatologist for this kind of thing, a GP will only need to refer on, so if you can go straight to a dermatologist (private/insurance) then I’d recommend to do that.
