I see all these you tubers using concealer and it actually makes a difference - covers scars, dots, acne, dark under eyes etc but whenever I use it it makes zero difference. I use good brands - currently Bobbi brown and it literally makes no difference - where am I going wrong?!

Do you put it on before or after your foundation?

I tried the double wear concealer and hated it for my under eyes. I keep it for covering the odd blemish.

I really like the Collection one from boots. It's only 4 quid and I buy it in the light shade and it does cover and brighten. I set it with some powder (Maybelline or something) and it stays all day. It creases a little but everything under my eyes seems to a little bit after a few hours.

YouTubers have beautiful lighting and anything they do looks good in that light but will look different in real life daylight. One YouTuber I watch always looks flawless then she does a daylight update on her make up a few hours later and her skin just doesn't look like the same person (not bad, she's still stunning but it looks completely different).

Give the Collection one a go and apply with a damp sponge. Smile

Do you dab it in or wipe it across? You must dab. Also google ‘baking’ makeup.
The only all round outstanding concealer I’ve ever found is Mac Pro longwear

If it's for dark circles use a colour correction first. Usually a tangerine kind of colour. The Armani under eye concealer is the best I have used to go on top, but yes you need to dab it in with make up sponge really.
