Spray tan gone wrong help!

I got my first ever spray tan yesterday and have washed the solution off and it's really patchy on my legs. It seems fine on my arms/body but all the way up my legs and thighs are horrendous. It's also super orange on my feet and one leg. I gave it a good scrub in the shower and I'll go buy some remover wipes today but is there anything else i can do?!

I thought I'd prepped by the book, and i tried to not touch anything/sit down for a good while after it was done. I'm going on holiday tomorrow so need quick fixes!!

Can you go back to where you had it done? That shouldn't happen so I would expect it to be redone!

MrsJamieFraser2 · 11/05/2019 10:08

Or at least rectified, you don't want to be double sprayed...

LittleLongDog · 11/05/2019 10:08

If you got it done by a professional I’d be back to them to ask for advice and see if they can fix it.

St Moriz mousse is very good and cheap as a quick fix.

It was a mobile beautician so I've just messaged her. I know she's at rugby this morning so probs won't hear from her til later.

Def don't want to be double sprayed!!

Beautician who did it hasn't really offered any solution or fix. Have been to town and bought some Bondi Sands tan remover, but it hasn't really helped. Has toned it down slightly. I've just slathered on some castor oil as somewhere said baby oil can remove fake tan but i don't have any. Will keep on with applying the tan remover too, maybe do some more later this afternoon and again first thing.

Dont really have any tips but this happens on my arms when I have dry skin patches or scars.
I also do spray tans but havent seen this happen before except on myself with the above issues!

Bottle of tomato ketchup. Scrubbing mitt.

Apply TK to mitt and scrub.

Has worked for me in the past.

Or add oil (baby or some such) to a bath and soak. Scrub during the bath.

Fake tans don’t like TK or oil (lifts them) but you do have to scrub too.

Sorry but that looks like a fungal skin infection

MiniMum97 · 11/05/2019 14:46

Buy some gradual tan and apply it to the bits that are less tanned and or patchy. Exfoliate the orangey bits. It will even out in a couple of days.

FakeTanandProsecco · 11/05/2019 14:50

It's not a fungal infection Hmm my skin does tend to be on the dryer side but it's been really good lately, which is why i decided to get a spray tan. It's obviously dryer than it feels.

Will try the above though thanks!
