Anything with air cushions in the sole and lace 'em up tight. Maybe buy some of those cushion heel things. I played netball last week for the first time in ages and turned my ankle over (not too bad, luckily) which made me think I should have an ankle support.
But I don't think you're as old as me!

I can recommend New Balance, will cost somewhere in the region of £40. My sister loves saucony ( she runs more than me) they're about £20. You should go to an independent running shop and try various ones on, they helped me, I have a slight instep etc. They tend to look at how you walk, they also recommend that you change your running shoes after you had a baby as the weight tends to make us walk differently, to do with distributing the weight through your feet, mumble.....

Overpronators feet roll in too much, you'd know cos the soles of your shoes would wear down the inside and you'd prob have flat feet. choosing running shoes

If you are a neutral runner go for cushioned.
